Finally Updating!!!

So sorry that it has been 2 weeks since I have updated the blog.  Things have been very busy, as you can imagine.  A lot has happened in the past two weeks.  We have gotten our countertops, appliances, new carpet and MOST importantly we have moved our furniture!!!!  YAY!  It feels amazing to actually be living in the house now.  There are still some misc. things that have to be done, but nothing that prevents us from living there.
Since it has been so long since I've updated it's really hard for me to remember day to day what all we did.  So instead I'll just update with the most recent pictures of the rooms.  They are really coming along.  I have refused to hang anything on the walls yet until I am certain I want the furniture to be where it is.  I know that my father-in-law spent a lot of time and hardwork fixing sheetrock and I am not about to put holes in the walls unless they are going to be covered! :-)
Before I get to the pics I wanted to say another big thanks to mom, dad, Ronny and Treva for ALLLLLLL their help.  Also a big thanks to Sam, Aunt Nessie, Andy, Troy and Jessica for helping us pack/move/un-pack.  We really appreicate it!
For those that don't remember what the original rooms looked like, I'm adding a picture of them before the new ones.

That's all for now, this site is messing up terribly today and it has taken me forever to get this much done.  Sorry if things turn out weird, it has been really hard adding pictures today!!!!

  2. Jenny, we had them done by a guy that does the cabinets for the builder my mom sells for. He only sells to builders, but since mom is such a good friend, he agreed to sell to us. I am not sure the name of the company though.
